Ukrainian stars handed out awards in Russia

The names of Ukrainian artists sounded on Russian award more than any other.

For seven consecutive years in the last weekend of may for representatives of Russian show-business is an important date. In the night from Saturday to Sunday is the awarding of the winners of the music award of the channel RU.TV. The event traditionally features more than six thousand spectators and attended by over a hundred artists.

This year and among the nominees, and among the winners was a lot of Ukrainian names.

So, Ani Lorak won in the nomination “the Best duet”, a group of “Mushrooms” admitted “the Best start”, the group “Time and Glass” took the award for “Best song”.

And Svetlana Loboda became the winner of two awards – “Best creative” and “Best singer”. It was surpassed only Philip Kirkorov. He took three statues, by the way, one of them he received in the category “Film and music” for the song of Irina Bilyk “love”.

By the way, Loboda, and Kirkorov was one of the four major awards.

This year for the first time in the history of the award the nomination “Best music video, shot in the Crimea.” For the victory competed five performers who carried out the shooting video on the territory of the Crimea Peninsula.
