Washington will leave in force associated with the Crimea, sanctions against Russia as long as Russia will not hand over control of the Peninsula to Ukraine. About it the Secretary of state Rex Tillerson said today, 7 December, at the OSCE meeting in Vienna.
“Crimea-related sanctions will remain in force as long as Russia does not return Crimea under full control of Ukraine”, – he said.
The Secretary of state said that Russia needs to follow the Minsk agreements.
“With regard to Eastern Ukraine, we are connected to our European partners to maintain the sanctions as long as Russia does not withdraw its forces from the Donbas, and will follow the Minsk agreements”, – said the Secretary of state.
