The Ukrainian journalist received a prestigious international award

The award she received in the Netherlands.

The journalist Marina Anciferova received the international award 2017 Free Press Awards in the category “Newcomer of the year”.

The ceremony took place on 2 November in the Hague (Netherlands). The city is home to well-known international legal Foundation international court of justice and the international criminal court.

“Maybe it’s a bit boring topic, but incredibly important. It is the success of judicial reform depends on whether the system of justice in Ukraine. This is the last link that separates the corrupt from the real punishment. And we need to talk about it,” said Marina.

In the category “Newcomer of the year” competed well as journalists from the Philippines and Ecuador. However, the Ukrainian got the winning statuette and a special scholarship from the Foundation. Hans Verploeg.

“I dedicate this award to my fellow journalists who face threats and violence, but don’t stop for the exposure of falsehood,” said Marina during the ceremony.

From the start of the judicial reform in October 2016, Marina Anciferova watched her move, exposing judges corrupt. First, in the special “Our money. Have doshutilis”, then in the plots of the main program “Our money”, she told me about the hidden conditions of judges and breaches in the declarations, illicit enrichment and bribery, misuse of official apartments.

Due to the cycle of stories of Marina Anciferova about the competition in the new Supreme court, it left a more odious candidates, particularly judges Paul wolf, Arthur Emelyanov, Oleg Gelaskin, Tatyana Lark and Yaroslav Romaniuk.
