The series “the exorcist” was officially RENEWED for a second season!

To be or not to be a second season of “the exorcist” (The Exorcist) from Fox – this question has long remained unanswered, because, in spite of the enthusiasm of the fans, the ratings show not wild.

I once wrote that we’re all very lucky to live in a “Golden age” of horror on the TV, and still convinced. ‘ve never starred so many great genre and okolosustaveh series, yet they were never so good as now. But this medal has a reverse side: new projects can be difficult to grab their part of the audience, because the audience already “hung” on other shows, the benefit of lack of choice.

Something like that, I think, happened with “the Exorcist”. Given that the series is based on the cult film considered one of the scariest movies of all time, I myself at first did not expect anything good from him. However, in reality television the exorcist the entire first season not just “keep the brand”, but showed the highest levels. The show was pleased with how respectful of the classics, beautiful in its darkness atmosphere. The show was intelligent, contained a few powerful turns of the plot, the actors did their best. And it lacked the horror of the real, hard horror. So if you still not watched it – my sincere recommendations.

Previously, Creator and showrunner of the project, Jeremy Slater said that in the new season, the characters Marcus, Thomas and Bennett will help the new family and face a new case of OCD.

Returning to the subject of the demand of this series from the audience, we should remember that in our poll about favorite TV shows “the exorcist” by all accounts lost to competitors and shares to date, the last spot with “Scream” from MTV. It’s actually not fair and the reason, I think, that many just do not see it. Give the Exorcist a second chance, my friends, they gave him a second chance bosses Fox!
