Young men of military age from the occupied Crimea will be sent to military service all over Russia.
This was stated by Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, reports the chronicle.info with reference for Today.
According to him, from April 1 start of spring conscription in Russia, under which for the first time will be subject to inhabitants of the Crimea.
“I want to start with the fact that tomorrow starts another draft campaign, which runs until July 15. In accordance with the decree of the President of Russia it is planned to call 142 thousand people. Among them – citizens of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, which since the spring of this year will take place military service in all parts of our country,” – said Shoigu.
He noted that for the selection for military service, the Crimean conscripts will carefully check.
“Managers at all levels need to thoroughly examine the private Affairs of recruits and to arrange professional psychological selection” – added the head of the defense Ministry.
