Revived Italian company ATS (Automobili Turismo e Sport) has introduced its new GT supercar, which received the ultralight carbon construction and 700-HP engine.
The coupe design was created by Bombay Emanuele, who previously worked at Fiat and bodywork Studio Bertone. The car received some stylistic elements of a classic sports car, the ATS 2500 GTS, released in 1963.
The basis of the supercar went ultra-light carbon chassis and body panels from carbon fiber. Coupe equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 unit, which in standard version produces 650 forces. The engine power can be increased to 700 horsepower. The engine is paired with seven-speed robotized gearbox with two clutches. The supercar can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in about three seconds, and its top speed exceeds 330 km per hour.
The driver will be available in three driving modes — Viaggio, Sport and Corsa, depending on the choice of which electronics will change the suspension settings, steering, transmission and powertrain. There will be produced 12 such cars. Prices for the supercar start from $ 1.2 million.
