The people of Kiev come new bills: what to expect

The new rates are provided for 8 thousand houses in the capital.

Kyiv authorities approved the new tariffs on services on maintenance of houses, constructions and house adjoining territories. The corresponding decree №668 from June 6, announced on the official website of the Kyiv city state administration.

The document was in the Main territorial Department of justice in Kiev on June 12.

According to the explanatory note to the document, the project was developed with the purpose of introduction of tariffs at economic levels that will allow “to overcome the unprofitability of enterprises in this sphere and to avoid allocation of subsidies from the city budget”.

In a note to the order of the new tariffs provided for 8 thousand 327 houses of the capital (the housing stock in Kiev in General has about 11 thousand high-rise residential buildings) that are served by 10 entities of communal property (management companies for the maintenance of the housing stock in all 10 districts of the capital).

In preparing the document, the provider of the service provided, the calculation of tariffs taking into account the profitability of 12%. The average tariff rate for these homes will be of 6.43 UAH per 1 m2, including VAT. Now the rates for services in content of houses and constructions and house adjoining territories established in the amount of 1.6 to 3.8 UAH per 1 m2 per month, depending on the house, says “Biznestsentr”.

The fares, as before, provide an opportunity to receive a 10% discount if paid before the 20th of the month following the settlement.

According to the document, the order shall enter into force on the date of its publication.

In addition, abrogated the decree on the establishment of tariffs on services on maintenance of houses No. 442 of April 30, 2015.
