Acting Minister of health Suprun has called a major cause of mortality among the population of Ukraine.

So, according to the official, the cardiovascular diseases are the cause of 67% of all deaths Ukrainian.

“This is a scary statistic suggests that there must be more attentive to yourself. What a heart attack is accompanied by only a strong pain in the chest is a myth. A heart attack occurs and less specific symptoms, if ignored, can cost lives, ” said Suprun.

As the head of the Ministry of health quoted the words of cardiologist Lily Sorokhtey, which advises to consider heavy breathing, nausea, feeling short of breath, very severe weakness and pain or discomfort in one or both arms, jaw, neck or back.

“Even if you are not sure that it’s a heart attack, immediately call 103,” advised the medic.
