Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel have agreed to soon hold a meeting in the “channel format”, said the President of the Russian Federation.
It is reported that Putin and Merkel in a telephone conversation discussed the escalation in the Donbas and agreed to strengthen diplomatic efforts to resolve the situation.
