The Hubble telescope recorded the explosion of a supernova

Pictures were taken within two years from 6 November 2014 to 12 October 2016.

Astronomers using the Hubble telescope recorded the explosion of a supernova SN 2014J. This is the website of NASA.

The star is in the galaxy M82.

According to astronomers, the supernova star, is marked in the picture with an “X”, was opened on 21 January 2014.

The image shows the distribution of light from the explosion. This so-called light echo.

You can also see the paintings of shredded clouds and fiery-looking plumes of glowing hydrogen released from its Central regions.

Pictures were taken within two years from 6 November 2014 to 12 October 2016. The first image was obtained approximately 10 months after the explosion.

SN 2014J is a supernova class Ia, its explosion happened closer to the Solar system over the last few decades.
