Scientists from the U.S. made a discovery: if you go to bed in a gloomy mood, sleep unnecessarily consolidate all fears and worries.
“You can’t go to bed with negative emotions is bad for health,” concluded the staff of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

The findings of scientists are based on the results of the experiment involving 75 people, which use special equipment to scan brain activity.
Monitoring by volunteers has shown: to suppress negative memories when they sleep was harder because their storage was responsible area of the brain associated with long-term memory. According to neurologists, this mechanism of remembering feelings left from those distant times in which human life depended on the quickness of his reactions — negative and life-threatening experience was kept in mind in order to avoid similar situations in the future.
