The contact group on the Donbas in Minsk to discuss the exchange of prisoners

On the agenda – preparation of the exchange of prisoners.

In Minsk began the next session of the Trilateral contact group on settling the situation in Donbas.

This was reported in the Facebook press Secretary of the Ukrainian representative Leonid Kuchma Daria olifer.

We will remind, the representative of Ukraine in the subgroup on safety TAG Yevhen Marchuk stated that the Russian side has been setup to block any progress in the negotiation process on settlement of the situation in the Donbass in the framework of the Trilateral contact group, with the exception of the exchange of prisoners.

The exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and the “L/DNR” blocked for more than a year. In mid-November, the information appeared that prepares the exchange “306 74” (306 separatists in exchange for Ukrainian prisoners of war 74). Russian President Vladimir Putin called leaders of the “LNR” and “DNR”, they promised to exchange. In General, the number of prisoners being held by the “LNR” and “DNR” – more than 150 people.
