System requirements beta Star Wars Battlefront II

Holders of pre-orders access to the test version will open on 4 October.

Shortly before the beginning of beta testing shooter Star Wars Battlefront II publisher Electronic Arts has updated the section with the most frequently asked questions about the “beta” by adding detailed system requirements.

Holders of pre-orders access to the test version will open on the 4th of October, while the rest will have to wait another two days, i.e., up to 6 numbers. Completed the testing all in one day — October 9. If you prefer PCs, make sure that it meets the minimum requirements:

OS: 64-bit Windows 7 SP1, 8.1 or 10;
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD FX-6350;
RAM: 8 GB;
video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB;
DirectX version: 11;
free disk space: 15 GB;
Internet connection: 512 kbit/s;

Note that on Russian-speaking page of “beta” instead of 15 shows 55 GB of free space, but probably it’s a typo and we are talking about the full game. Recommend the developers of the more advanced configuration: for example, the size of the RAM is preferably double, to play better only with the operating system Windows 10. Recommended requirements are as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 and AMD FX 8350 Wraith;
RAM: 16 GB;
video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB or AMD Radeon RX 4GB 480;
DirectX version: 11.1;
free disk space: 15 GB;
Internet connection: 512 kbit/s;

In beta-version players will see all three eras of “Star wars” and will be able to test four modes. Testing will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Recall that the release shooter, developed by Studio DICE, will be held simultaneously on all platforms and in all regions of the 17 November.
