SkyUp and UIA are the underlying airlines in Ukraine

On the Ukrainian aviation market, the rules of free competition.

Ukraine will exist at least two fundamental airlines, said the Minister of infrastructure Vladimir Omelian.

“It is important to have a basic Ukrainian airlines. It is definitely MAU and newborn SkyUp” he said.

The Minister noted that the Ukrainian aviation market, the rules of free competition and recalled that in March to reopen the terminal F of Boryspil airport already based eight airlines.

“In 2015, the average cost of the ticket from Kiev to EU countries was roughly $500, now 10 times cheaper. The stock has the opportunity to buy tickets, even for 5-10 Euro,” said Omeljan.

Earlier, the Minister of infrastructure rule out the possibility that after the election victory of President Vladimir Zelensky oligarch Igor Kolomoisky will be able to restore its monopoly influence on the aviation industry.
