According to who experts obtained in the course of a large-scale study of the composition of 36 thousand samples of various fruits, berries and vegetables, namely strawberries often contain traces of pesticides.
In scientific work carried out analysis of contamination of pesticides forty-eight varieties of fruits grown in the usual way, of which 70% contained residues of harmful substances. The clear leader on this indicator became strawberry.
In this fruit the scientists found traces of twenty different pesticides. The second stage of the questionable ranking took the spinach, and the third and the fourth sweet corn and avocado.
Pesticides, a highly toxic compound, the ingress of which into the human body can lead to the development of several diseases. In particular, they can have a negative impact on reproductive function, immune system, nervous system and even increase the risk of developing tumors.
