Scientists: frozen vegetables and fruits are healthier than fresh

Frozen products are much higher in vitamins and antioxidants than fresh.

American scientists from the University of Georgia found out how fresh vegetables healthier than frozen.

Researchers two years studied the concentration of various vitamins and mineral elements in frozen vegetables and fruits. As it turned out – the difference between them is almost there.

However, fresh vegetables that have been stored longer than 5 days, lose some of their vitamins. Therefore, in this case, frozen contain much more nutrients.

This result is easily explained, because the frozen vegetables to lose their properties. Therefore, the authors of the study refuted the myth that frozen fruit and vegetables are not as useful as fresh.
