German Chancellor Angela Merkel during a visit to Sochi on may 2 will discuss with Russian President Vladimir Putin armed conflict in the East of Ukraine.

“Chancellor Angela Merkel will travel 2 may 2017 in Sochi for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The visit will take place in preparation for the G20 summit this year in Hamburg,” said he.
“In addition, the topic of conversation will be other ongoing foreign policy challenges such as the conflict in Ukraine and war in Syria,” added Seibert.
Between the two rounds of talks between Putin and Merkel, they will give a press conference.
