Consumer prices for gasoline in Russia on average increased in August by 0.2% from the previous month when they rose by the same amount. In annual terms, the petrol price increased in August by 2.2% (after rising 1.8% in July), follows from the data of Federal state statistics service.
With the beginning of the year gasoline prices increased by 1.7% (by December 2018).
Rosstat indicates that in the reporting month increase in consumer prices of gasoline of 0.3% or more was observed in 30 regions (except the Autonomous districts included in the region). Of these, the most significantly increased prices in the Kamchatka region — 1%, in the Republic of Buryatia and Orel region — by 0.8% and 0.7% respectively.
While in Moscow gasoline for August rose 0.2%, in St.-Petersburg — on 0,1%.
The Department also notes that producer prices of gasoline in Russia on average fell in August 2019 8.7% compared to the previous month, after the July decline of 0.8%. Yoy producer prices of gasoline decreased in the reporting period, stronger — 15.9%.
For the first 8 months since the beginning of this year, gasoline from manufacturers fell by 13.8% (by December 2018).
Rosstat says that in 15 RF subjects petrol became cheaper by 0.9% in the Tyumen region to 12.7% in the Yaroslavl region. His appreciation is marked in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is 1.5%.
