Scientists from France and Switzerland came to the conclusion that daily consumption of two servings of enriched yogurt (125 grams each) reduces the risk of developing secondary hyperparathyroidism and slows down the process of bone resorption.

The record for the consumption of yogurt per capita belongs to the people of Finland,each of which absorbs more than 35 kg of this product per year.

Yogurt with phytosterols can reduce weight and improve blood vessels and heart: vegetable substances, not allowed to absorb cholesterol and instead enter the blood and then deposited on the walls of blood vessels, it is naturally excreted from the body.

Yogurt is the most valuable source of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to serious health problems — disorders of the nervous system and metabolism.

Though yogurt and milk contain the same amount of calcium, the body better absorb calcium from yogurt. The fact is that contained in milk calcium (and iron) closely connected with other components. And yogurt cultures help to release calcium. Over time, reduced risk of osteoporosis, atherosclerosis, heart attack,arthritis.
