Poroshenko enacted the decision NSDC, which provides for the strengthening of defense capability of Ukraine

This decision recognizes the need to further improve the achievements of conceptual approaches for strengthening the defense.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed a decree enacted the decision of the Council of national security and defense on measures to strengthen the defense of the state.

This decision recognizes the need to further improve the achievements of conceptual approaches for the strengthening of the defense capability of the state in conditions of long-term aggression from Russia.

The decree stipulates that Ukraine will create an interagency working group that will prepare proposals for strengthening the defense of the state.

This group is mandated to develop proposals of the national security Council concerning:
improvement of the territorial defence,
increasing the level of military-Patriotic education of youth,
training a military reserve of Ukraine and other military formations,
countering information aggression against Ukraine
organize and support the activities of the resistance movement.
Who will be included in the interagency group and will become its head?

The panel will consist of Chairman, Secretary and others. Chairman of the interdepartmental working group Poroshenko appointed the Deputy Secretary of the NSDC of Sergey Krivonos. And yet the President approved the regulations on this group.

So, Krivonos within 3 months must submit to the Council proposals for a comprehensive approach to the implementation of certain areas. But within 6 months – to make proposals for the resolution of problematic issues and improve legislation.

In the interagency working group also includes:

the Deputy Minister of defence,
the Minister of internal Affairs,
Minister of foreign Affairs,
Minister of education and science,
Minister of youth and sports,
Minister of veterans Affairs,
Minister of information policy,
Chairman of SBK,
the national guard commander,
the commander of Land forces of the APU.

The group can also be included with the consent of the representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on national security and defence, the presidential Administration, the National Institute for strategic studies.
