Already included hybrid options on the platform UKL in 225xe Active Tourer and MINI Countryman, it is likely that there will be a fully electric 1 Series. Previously it was stated that the last, the upcoming compact BMW will be available only as a five-door, compared to previous versions, where there was a three-door version.
Although this is the first full replacement model of the 1 Series to FWD, it’s not the first model with front-wheel drive, as this mark is exclusive for China, the sedan 1 Series.
