Paris has the Museum of Yves Saint Laurent — starting Tuesday, October 3, it is open to the public.
The house, located on Avenue Marceau, 5, where for 30 years he lived and worked the designer, turned into a Museum under the leadership of Pierre Berger, the friend and the partner of Yves Saint Laurent, who died on 8 September 2017. It collects the personal belongings of the designer — including, in the condition in which they were after his death in 2008 (points in which he worked, blouse, thrown on the back of a chair, sketches, and a photograph of Catherine Deneuve).
In addition to the items of the designer, in the Museum you can see photos of created outfits, sketches collections. The second Museum of Yves Saint Laurent will open in Marrakech, Morocco, October 19, 2017.
