Named the most useful product for Alzheimer’s disease

Olive oil will help to preserve the memory.

American scientists claim that regular consumption of olive oil in a food retains memory, protecting from Alzheimer’s disease.

Scientists have discovered that olive oil reduces the risk of dementia, prompting the brain to clear the memory from unnecessary information. According to a new study, regular consumption of olive oil may protect your memory and ability to remember new aging. The discovery was hailed as an “exciting” breakthrough in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.

To explore the relationship between olive oil and dementia, Professor Pratico and his colleagues tested the mice with induced Alzheimer’s. Animals were divided into two groups – one in the diet have been added olive oil, the second diet was not changed.

“We found that olive oil reduces inflammation of the brain, but most importantly it activates a process known as autophagy. Due to the activation of autophagy was preserved memory and synaptic integrity, and pathologic effects in animals otherwise destined for the development of Alzheimer’s disease, was significantly reduced. This is a very important discovery, because we suspect that the reduction of autophagy marks the beginning of Alzheimer’s disease,” said lead researcher Professor Domenico Pratico from temple University in Pennsylvania.
