Named the most important vitamins for people aged

Without them a long and healthy life you can forget.

Scientists of the Center. Helmholtz in Munich (Germany) investigated blood samples 1079 of older Germans, aged 65 to 93 years. Most of the subjects showed a deficit of a vitamin.

Especially often there is a lack of vitamins D and B12.

In the study, researchers paid particular attention to the following micronutrients: vitamin D, folic acid, vitamin B12 and iron.

52% of participants in the concentration of vitamin D was below 50 nmol/l, which tells about the deficit. The second position scarcity took vitamin B12, which is lacking 27% of subjects. The proportion of people with low contents of iron and folic acid were, respectively, 11% and 9%.

Experts disagree regarding the sources of compensation for the deficiency of vitamins. Some people recommend to take supplements, others advocate for good nutrition.
