The rating was compiled on nine criteria, which addressed issues of fashion, transport maintenance, cleanliness of streets and architecture. Thus, Paris has topped the list of 80 of the most fashionable places in the world. In second place is London, the third in Vienna. Every city in the top ten, with the exception of new York (seventh place), is in Europe.
“We know that elegance can’t be bought. Rather similar quality refers to something more subtle and difficult to define. While trends are changing, true elegance never goes out of fashion”, — commented on the list its creators.
In fourth place was Venice, the fifth — Florence, at the sixth — Barcelona at the eighth — Bordeaux. Completing the top ten Milan and Rome.
