Football player of FC Chornomorets goes to Shakhtar in the free agent status – the current contract 24-year-old defender with Odessa will expire at the end of the current season.
“Chernomorets” at the end of March tried to extend the contract with Chocolatey, however, the Georgians rejected the offer of the Sailors to put his signature under a five year agreement with “Shakhtar”.
Chocolove an uphill struggle for a place in the Shakhtar’s first team. Currently the head coach of “miners” Paulo Fonseca in the centre of defence can count on four players – Yaroslav Rakitskiy, Ivan Ordets, Oleksandr Kuceva and Serhiy Kryvtsov.
The Shakhtar newcomer acts “Chernomorets” from July 2015. All tournaments Khocholava played 41 matches and scored three goals.
Recently Khocholava was regularly called to the national team of Georgia. While in the asset as a Central defender in friendlies against Uzbekistan, Jordan and Latvia.
At home David Khocholava played in the following clubs: “Sasko” (Tbilisi), “metallurg” (Rustavi), Sioni (Bolnisi), “Dynamo” (Tbilisi), “Kolkheti” (Poti) and “Shukur” (Kobuleti).
