Magnetic storms in December: recommendations from physicians

The schedule of magnetic storms in this month.

According to preliminary forecasts of experts, the beginning of winter 2017, is quite troublesome from the point of view of solar activity and magnetic storms. At the beginning of the month, Monday, December 4, the expected disturbances of the geomagnetic field of the Earth, will peak on 5-6 December and will last until 7 December.

According to Space Environment Center, NOAA & U.S. Air Force, USA, 4 December expected to be weak and small geomagnetic disturbances.

According to forecasts of specialists of the Laboratory of x-ray astronomy of the Sun the TESIS, weak magnetic storms expected December 4-7, 11, 12, 13 and 18 December. Magnetic storm average power is projected to be 5 Dec. In the last decade of the month the Earth’s magnetic field is calm.

This can significantly affect mood and well-being weather-sensitive, weak and sick people. Especially if these days the weather changes drastically decreases or increases in atmospheric pressure or temperature.

How to behave in the days of magnetic storms

In order to endure the days of magnetic storms, preferably:

– maintain a positive attitude avoid stressful situations, to observe moderation in all things;
– decrease physical activity;
– longer stay in the fresh air;
– to give up alcohol and cigarettes, strong coffee and tea;
– limit consumption of salty, spicy, fatty, fried foods;
