Lutsenko has signed the suspicion of a crime to the people’s Deputy Long

He is charged with abuse of power while working in the Cabinet.

Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko before the trip out to the Donbass signed the message on suspicion to the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oles Dovgy.

This was reported by press Secretary Lutsenko Larisa Sargan.

MP is suspected of committing a crime under part 2 of article 28 (Commission of crime by group of persons, group of persons by prior conspiracy, an organized group or a criminal organization), part 2 St. 364 (abuse of power or official position) the Criminal code.

Recall, 11 July, Parliament supported the removal of immunity of MP Oles Dovgy and gave the consent to attraction of the Deputy to criminal responsibility.

The case against the MP for the allocation of land in the capital in 2007-2009, when Dovgy was Secretary of the Kiev city Council. He is charged with abuse of official duties for the purpose of illegal alienation of land plots of 10 reserve “Zhukov Island” with a total area of a 44.25 ha long, according to investigators, committed a crime, violating the rules of the city Council.

Dovgy, speaking in the Parliament, acknowledged that this violated the then regulations. “The regulations violated the law – no,” he said.
