Lost on a bribe Colonel of the General staff arrested for 2 months

Soldier arrested with the right to bail in the sum of 96 thousand hryvnias.

The chief of one of departments of the Main Directorate of operational support of the Armed forces of Ukraine, Colonel W., convicted of bribery, by the court in custody for a period of 60 days with a right of Deposit in the amount of 96 thousand hryvnias. This was reported by the press service of the military Prosecutor of the Central region of Ukraine.

So, the military Prosecutor of the Kiev garrison handed over the detainee to the notice of suspicion in committing a criminal offense under part 3 St. 368 Criminal code of Ukraine.

Darnitskiy district court of Kiev has satisfied the claim of the military Prosecutor of the Kiev garrison and took the decision to dismiss the Colonel from office. It elected a measure of restraint in form of detention for a period of 60 days with option to bail at 96 thousand UAH.
