The implementation of land reform is no longer a requirement to get a tranche of Ukraine from the International monetary Fund. This was announced by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander danyluk in an interview to Ukrainian news.
“Yes, land reform came from this list. But the need for land reform for the development of the Ukrainian economy is obvious. It had a long time to spend, so no matter it is in the IMF program or not – it is necessary to do”, – said danyluk.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine plans before the end of the year to receive two tranches from the International monetary Fund. However, their amount is negotiable.
Earlier it was reported that for the completion of the fourth review of the EFF program with the International monetary Fund needs to be performed key requirements: pension reform, privatisation and the fight against corruption.
