Italy are giving out free locks to attract tourists

Such real estate people can get the property for a period of nine years

Unusual, but the fact is that the Italian government indeed ordered in the near future to distribute free of charge 103 historical buildings including medieval castles, villas and monasteries, provided that their new owners can make them places for tourists.

With the aim of promoting the tourism sector of Italy along the eight traditional tourist routes in the center of the country and on the Islands of Sicily and Sardinia, and the locks can now get each.

In attention first of all will be to take unused private and public buildings, distribute them to the new owners made them attractive to tourists and pilgrims.

Such real estate people can get the property for a period of nine years (with possibility of extension for another nine). They have until June 26 to send in the Agency application, as they plan to rebuild the building and what happens.
