In 2017, the “price leaders” among food products in Ukraine were bacon, pork, and butter.

This was announced by the head of the Association of retailers of Ukraine Oleksiy Doroshenko.

In the top 5 of the “price” of leaders in 2017, which, summing up to 2017, amounted to the Association of trade networks of Ukraine, included bacon, pork, butter, beef and soft cheese.

“Experts of the Ukrainian Association of suppliers of retail chains has made a rating of the top 5 products that were the leaders of price growth in the past year”, – said A. Doroshenko.

The expert noted that in the top 5 of the rating “the Hryvnia equivalent” includes, in descending order of favorite Ukrainian product – bacon, which this year has risen by RS 27 per kg – 1; 2-3 place – pork and butter, which added to the price of 26 UAH per kilo; 4th place took the beef, which in 2017 rose in price by 26 UAH per kilogram; 5th place is “occupied” soft cheese, the cost of which increased by UAH 20.

“Top 5 “Interest equivalent” 1 took the place of fat, which is became the leader of this rating, the product No. 1 from the beginning of year have increased in price by 68%. 2nd place-Buryak – 58%, 3rd place – carrot with 57%, 4th place – pork – 37% 5 – beef with 30%”, – summed up A. Doroshenko.
