Ukrainian forecasters expect significant warming no earlier than April 26, to this on the territory of the country are expected, with overnight frosts, and daytime temperatures will be in the range +6..+12 degrees, said the Deputy Director Ukrgidromettsentra Anatoly Prokopenko.

“Significant warming we expect in Ukraine only from the 26th of April,” – said at a meeting of the state Commission on questions tekhnogenno-ecological safety and emergency situations regarding the complications of weather conditions.

He noted that difficult weather conditions are expected on April 20-21: southern, Central and Eastern regions rains with wet snow.

On the night of the 21st of April in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk, and in the afternoon also in Poltava and Kharkiv regions expected heavy wet snow and sleet sticking, a wind up to 15-20 m/s.

Night frosts are expected 0-5 degrees, ground frozen to -3 degrees, in the afternoon we expect +5-10 degrees.

“In the future, 22-25 April’s cold weather will last: night frost 0-5 degrees, in the southern part +1-6 degrees, day in Ukraine +6-12 degrees, will often rain – mostly small, night sleet,” – said the representative of Reuters.
