In Ukraine will not prohibit the use of aircraft over 20 years

In the Ukrainian airline had 35 planes than the age of two decades.

The Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine refused announced last year plans to ban flights of passenger aircraft over 20 years old.

The Ministry of infrastructure said that in the discussion took part Director General of the airport “Borispol” Pavel Ryabikin, the head of the state aviation administration Alexander Belchuk, airline executives SkyUp, Azur Air, “International airlines of Ukraine” and others.

Last summer in the Ukrainian airline had 35 planes than the age of two decades. The greatest number of aircraft in operation for 20 years or more were at the disposal of the airline “Ukraine International airlines” (UIA, Kyiv) – 3 Boeing 737-500 (one – 26 years and two for 25 years) and 4 Boeing 767-300 (25, 27 and two for 26 years).

On the second place by number of aircraft with long service life was the airline “Motor Sich” – 3 Antonov An-24RV (45,46 and 47) and 2 Yak-40 (38 and 43).

The YanAir airline had two Boeing 737-300 (30 and 26 years), Boeing 737-400 at the age of 29 years and the Airbus 321-112 at the age of 20 years.

A similar number of old jets were in the Park Bravo Airlines – Boeing 737-500 (28 and 26 years old) and 2 aircraft MD-83 (27 years).
