In Turkey blew up a police bus

The incident occurred in the centre of the Turkish city of Mersin.

In the Turkish city of Mersin, an explosion occurred in a police bus, injuring 12 people. CNN Turk reports that the scene was sent to the police, rescuers and physicians.

According to preliminary data, the cause was an explosive device on the remote control.

Currently, police are investigating the incident as a terrorist attack. However, so far none of the terrorist organizations has claimed responsibility.

Turkish media noted that the Kurdistan workers ‘ party, which Ankara considers a terrorist group, in the past repeatedly committed assaults on the police. Such attacks also organized the terrorists of the “Islamic state”.

We will remind, the Turkish government extended the state of emergency in the country for another three months.
