In Transcarpathia border guards detained migrants nielegalnych

800 meters from the border found 8 men and 4 women

In the Transcarpathian region, border guards detained 12 migrants who illegally tried to get into the European Union (EU). This is stated in the press service of the State border service of Ukraine in Facebook.

“The staff of Department of fight against crimes connected with human trafficking, together with border guards prevented an attempt of crossing the EU group of illegal immigrants”, – is spoken in the message. According to the press service, 8 men and 4 women noticed 800 metres from the state border. With them they had no documents. At the moment they were taken to the temporary detention of chopsky boundary group. So, on this fact police initiated a Criminal case under article 332 of the Criminal code, that is “illegal transportation of persons through the state border of Ukraine”.

It is noted that militiamen establish the persons who may be involved in the organization and facilitation of illegal migration. The investigation is ongoing.
