In the center of Lviv will build the cable car

The oldest district will connect with the highest point of the city.

The oldest district of Lviv – Pidzamche – have to connect with the highest point of the city – High Castle – suspended cable car lookout.

“Lviv deputies approved the investment project “construction of the suspension review ropeway for use by the recreational opportunities of the Park “High Castle”. The initiator of this project was the Lviv regional organization “Rehabilitation of persons with disabilities”, – stated in the message.

It is noted that the observation of the suspended cable car attraction will perform a review function, and will create an environment of inclusiveness for all categories of visitors, including people with limited mobility, viewpoints and monuments of archeology and architecture in the Park “High Castle”.

“This is the beginning of the announcement of the investment competition. I think wanting to take part in it will be a lot. Everything is very regulated, the position of UNESCO, the position of the town planning Board, the Ministry of culture. Restrictions are many and we have secured all the points. Participation in the competition is open to both Ukrainian and foreign investors “, – said the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy.

The investment project provides for the construction of the complex suspension of the review ropeway, footbridge of memory of Heroes of Heavenly one Hundred, measures for beautification of parks “High Castle” and “Shafts” within the territory of the project implementation and other components and activities.

The total cost of the project amounts to almost 400 million UAH. The introduction of the complex into operation is planned in the first quarter of 2021.
