In Syria, Assad’s troops took Palmyra

The Minister of defence of Russia has already reported this to the President of the Russian Federation.

In Syria, government forces took the city of Palmyra.

This was stated press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu had already reported to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

He noted that the city took with the support of aviation.

Agency SANA reported that the army of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad simultaneously with multiple parties entered into the historic centre of Palmyra.
