In Iraq eliminated one of the leader of ISIS

The gunman was a French citizen.

During the attack near Mosul, coalition forces managed to destroy one of leaders “Islamic state”. This was reported by CNN, citing data from the Pentagon.

– Coalition forces in the latest attack near Mosul destroyed Rashid Kassim, senior coordinator of ISIS – said mayor Adrian Rankine-Galloway.

Kassim was a suspect in organizing terrorist attacks in France. It is known that he was a coordinator of the attacks in the group.

Earlier it was reported that Chechen law enforcement officers liquidated group of recruiters of the terrorist group “Islamic state”. Several suspects were arrested, others killed.

– An unknown armed group killed on Sunday, January 29, with the most famous executioner of the “Islamic state” – the so-called Abu Sayyaf. He was lured into an ambush near the al-Dawasa in the West of Mosul. He has received several stab wounds and died on the spot, – told in the message.
