In Florence for tourists will discover a unique corridor

The Vasari corridor is closed to tourists c 2016.

The world famous Vasari Corridor in Florence is fully open to all tourists in 2021.

The Vasari corridor, which is part of the Florentine Museum complex of the Uffizi, and is closed to tourists c 2016. The reason was the violation of fire safety. The cost of admission will be 45 euros in high season and 20 in low. In addition, management intends to introduce integrated tickets XXL, which will allow you to visit Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi, the Vasari Corridor, Palazzo Pitti, Boboli Gardens, Forte Belvedere and the Bardini Garden.

A covered gallery, the Vasari Corridor built in 1565 in honor of the wedding of the son of the Grand Duke, Francesco I de ‘ Medici and Joanna of Austria. The corridor connects some of the most famous buildings in Florence – the Palazzo Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti. One of the parts of the structure runs over the Arno river.

5 through March 10, tourists can visit the Uffizi gallery, Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens for free. These days here is “the Week of museums”. The entrance is open from 08:15 to 18:50. On ordinary days, a General admission ticket costs about 38 euros.
