Ginger: contraindications and side effects

We do not recommend to use the ginger root.

Despite the fact that this is one of the most useful roots on the planet, ginger can also cause a number of side effects, especially if consumed in excess.

Consumption of more than 4 g of ginger in one day can lead to heartburn, gas, bloating, nausea or stomach stress. This spice also prevents the effects of blood-thinning drugs such as aspirin.

Thanks to its powerful healing properties, ginger is part of Asian culinary tradition and naturopathy for more than 5,000 years. It is also one of the most widely used herbs in the world. Ginger is known as Vishava-bheshaj (universal medicine) and Maha-aushadhi (wide-spectrum drugs) in Ayurvedic tradition, whose concepts revolve around proper digestion. In other words, when food is processed and digested properly, it creates toxins in the body. Even if the toxins are formed in the body, they can be effectively removed by ginger. In Chinese medicine, for example, ginger is used as an antidote for food or drug poisoning, which confirms its detoxifying properties.

-People before
-People who take some drugs

Ginger prevents the effects of several other drugs, including antacids, because it stimulates acid production in the stomach. People taking medications for the heart, antihistamines, cancer treatments and drugs should avoid it

Ginger interacts with some herbs
With the exception of medicines, ginger also prevents the effect of herbs that stimulate blood flow and slow blood clotting. These include cloves, garlic, Ginkgo biloba, ginseng, saffron, Angelica. When taking ginger with these herbs but a higher risk of bleeding.
