The German company Deutsche Bahn, owned by the state, showed a concept of a train “Idea Train”, which is intended to replace self-driving cars in the future.
Double-Decker cars designed for several purposes: in some workout equipment and treadmills, in other gaming consoles, swivel chairs and widescreen TVs. Also provided isolated spaces for sleeping or business negotiations with the squelch and tablets built into the tables.
According to the plans of Deutsche Bahn, comfortable trains will be able to compete with Autonomous cars in the future. The authors believe that self-driving cars will allow passengers to do other things, so they would bring them increased comfort.
By 2019, the “Idea Train” will pass the safety test and, according to the plan, will run between Munich and community Simbach am Inn in Bavaria.
