Geletey said about the attempts on Poroshenko

Often before the arrival of the President at events found explosive devices and firearms.

Since 2014 President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has recorded several attempts of assassination. On Friday, November 17, reports the observer with reference to the head of Department of state guard of Ukraine Valeriy Geletey.

According to him, there were a few real attempts.

“A few days after the inauguration was a dangerous case, that an attempt to lay an explosive device at the entrance to the presidential Administration. An improvised explosive device seized in a timely manner. A criminal case is still being investigated,” – said geletey.

The official noted that it was the most difficult period from the point of view of security. He also said that often, before the emergence of Poroshenko on specific events were found explosive devices and firearms.

“If we find weapons or explosives in places where a President should be, this can be considered as a kind of preparation for the assassination. Such cases have recently been quite a lot,” added geleta.
