Avakov made a statement on the “Euronorm”

The Minister of internal Affairs has told about his vision of vehicles with foreign registration.

The issue of importation of vehicles with foreign registration requires an immediate solution and find a compromise solution. This is stated in the statement of the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, posted on the official website of the Ministry of interior on Friday, November 17.

“It must be solved not in the direction of the tight fiscal situation, but not in the “bring all the trash that is.” When the fiscal pressure on the one hand, and the voter, the public, the people, the activists put pressure on the other side, then we’ll find balance. And just destroy each other is wrong,” – said Avakov.

According to him, when the car enters the country temporarily, that is not registered in the database, and in such a situation should solve the problem of the fiscal service, recommending appropriate mechanisms for the settlement.

“If you are a foreigner and drove into the country, driving from Magadan to London and go the whole six hours, then you are not recorded in the fixed base. You just transit. But if you pretend that you’re coming, conventionally, from Magadan to Kostroma via Ukraine and are here six or eight months, and then come and block the road in front of the Parliament. How to ensure that this process is the issue of fiscal service, which should offer appropriate mechanisms,” the Minister said.

Avakov also added that in a country that is at war, it is necessary to stop and check cars foreign numbers.
