France will be engaged in Ukrainian trash

Poroshenko has promised to hold a meeting with heads of leading French investors

President Petro Poroshenko is in favour of attracting investors from France to the processing of waste in Ukraine.

He stated this during a joint press conference with President of France Emmanuel Macron in Paris.

“We had thorough talks on the agenda of our bilateral relations. We agreed to accelerate the holding of the bilateral intergovernmental economic Commission. We agreed on specific areas of cooperation in the energy sector, including I raised the question of intensifying the work on attracting French investors in the field of recycling of garbage,” he said.

Also Poroshenko called for the intensification and expansion of French investments in various sectors, including solar energy.

He also said that during his working visit to France on Monday to hold meetings with heads of leading French investors.
