Everything you need to know about sunburn

Go to the beach hoping to get a nice tan? Do not overdo it, because you’re at risk for skin burns!

Nowadays it is considered almost indecent to go in the summer with white, not tanned skin. There is nothing strange that you take every opportunity to sunbathe! But be careful.

Scientifically sunburn is called “erythema” – redness of certain areas of the skin due to excessive filling of the cutaneous capillary blood. Inflammation of the capillaries can be caused by a variety of causes, such as infection, allergies or, as in the case of sunburn, excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays on the skin.

Sunburn is not immediately

Lying on the beach, you may not notice that your skin is burned. Sunburn usually appears within 2-6 hours after exposure to the sun. And continues to develop in 24-72 hours! That is why it is so important in the beginning of the summer season to dose stay on the beach, and if you burn, for a few days did refuse to relax.

It causes symptoms similar to flu-like symptoms

Chills, fever, nausea, vomiting, weakness – these symptoms can accompany a skin burn in the sun. Also you can decrease the pressure and even happen to faint!

He is accompanied by dehydration

You probably know that in hot weather should drink more water than usual. But if you are burned by the sun even more! A large number drunk fluid reduces pain with sunburn.

Use tools to help soothe your skin

A great option would be gels and skin creams containing aloe Vera juice. But also suitable other means (not cosmetic, and pharmacy), which includes panthenol.

Bubbles can puncture!

You are burned so badly that the skin had bubbles? In any case, do not pierce them! Inside the bubble contains a special liquid that helps to form in the affected area of the protective layer. If the bubble bursts, the skin in this place will heal much slower, and the healing process will occur more painful.

For pain relief are not suitable for all anesthetics

For example, the means comprising benzocaine and lidocaine, which will cause even more irritation to the already affected skin.

Scalp gets burned too!

If you are a long time under the scorching sun without a headdress, the burn could not only shoulders, but also the scalp. If the scalp is bake after the beach, use a cool compress. Try to apply at this time particularly gentle shampoos. Can also brush it before bed the roots of the hair with aloe juice, it’ll help irritation.

The healing process will take some time

Note that a single procedure will not bring special relief. In order to get rid of a sun burn, you need a few days to lubricate the affected areas with special agents from the burn and to take time off from sunbathing.
