Vaping can cause inflammation and reduce the activity of alveolar macrophages.

Despite the widespread belief that such cigarettes are alternative to Smoking, they should be treated with caution, informs ScienceDaily.

University Professor David Thickett stated that electronic cigarettes are safer terms of cancer risk but if Smoking them for 20 or 30 years, this can lead to chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD).

The effects of Smoking vaping was the same as in regular smokers and people suffering from chronic lung disease.

However, scientists warn that these results were obtained only in the laboratory within 48 hours. For a more accurate conclusion, further studies are needed.
