American scientists have compiled a list of the most effective way to extend the life in adult age, and published a consistent programme of action.
According to scientists, a diet that is rich in whole grain foods, vegetables, fruits, nuts and fish, and contains almost no red meat and sugar, significantly reduces the risk of premature death.
With this method agree, many experts believe the most appropriate food.
To prove this theory, scientists conducted a study, which lasted 12 years. It was attended by 74 thousand adults. Researchers all this time, studied their food habits, and over time, analyzed the occurrence of the factors associated with the risk of premature death.
Tests have shown that when replacing one serving of red meat for nuts or beans reduced the risk of mortality from various causes in 8-17%.
