Rodents were fed food with high fat content. According to scientists, the excess fat deposited in blood vessels in animals by cholesterol crystals, whose appearance in the body starts the inflammatory response. However, with the introduction of the sugar components in the body of the animal immune system was activated and began the process of “treatment”. “Cholesterol crystals are liquefied at the same time decreased the level of inflammation and increased excretion of fat”, told about it to the authors of the project.

Scientists have found that under the action of carbohydrate cyclodextrin increased the activity of LXR gene, due to which the utilization of fat by the body more rapidly. Physicians believe that the same method can be used to treat patients with diabetes of the second degree. By sugar carbohydrate cyclodextrin can induce the activation of immunosuppressive drugs, which destroy harmful bacteria in the human body – this will eventually contribute to more intense excretion of sugar from the body diabetics, they say.
