Actually, sensible people should be clear that the grandparents just don’t realize what they’re talking about. From their lips to hear anything, but that is no reason for anger, aggression and conflict.

To provide complete care. With such a diagnosis as senile dementia, the person becomes helpless. He can’t take care of themselves, to cook, to eat, to go out and so on. Only from his family, living next depends on how he will feel and how many more years will live in this world. The nuance is in the fact that patients with dementia are rested and can fully prevent take care of them like little children, in this case, his family will have to show perseverance and firmness, in any case, not letting it go.

Arrange safe patient stay in a house where other people live and especially the children. Sharp objects, gas stove and everything that can cause harm to others, if they touch an elderly person with developing dementia, should be out of reach for him. Even the handles on the Windows and balcony doors should be locked. With regard to the communication of the elderly with young children, doctors do not recommend to leave them alone with each other, because this disease may be accompanied by bouts of aggression.

Amateur with senile dementia is extremely undesirable.
